On June 30 and July 1, we presented an online workshop entitled (Information Security) to delve into the world of information security and understand the important details. In cooperation with our partners, the Academic Strategic Development Center (Iraqi Academics Syndicate)
The workshop was delivered by the experienced trainer Aref Shaheed, and he started by defining the basic terms in information security, the number of types of workers in this field, and common attacks.
It ended with defining penetration testing, and assessing weaknesses.
It was attended by 70 trainees residing in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Morocco.
The workshop was a great success, especially since we live in the age of the Internet, where programming has become the technology of the age, and it was popular with the participants to learn how to maintain the confidentiality of data and stay within the safe domain while using technology devices
The workshop lasted four hours, two hours of training each day
