Paulo Coelho is a Brazilian novelist, born in Virio de Janeiro in 1947. Early in his life, he worked as a theater director, actor, songwriter and journalist.
He has many famous novels around the world, the most important of which is the novel The Alchemist, which has been translated into more than 80 languages, and entered the Guinness Book of Records as the most translated book by a living author, and its sales exceeded 200 million copies.
The novel summary
The Alchemists’ novel is a symbolic novel , dealing with the story of an Andalusian shepherd named Santiago , Who has a dream that has been repeated more than once , about a treasure buried in Egypt near the pyramids , sets out on a journey in search of his lost treasure ,a journey filled with excitement and lessons ,and meet the love on his way .
Santiago met many characters who support him , inspired him , and stood against him , and he faces many difficult situations ,confusing thoughts , and the moments that require courage , and the moments that require insights .
His journey ends with him discovering that the treasure was always in front of him , but he needed this search trip to get to know himself and live his own legend.

Why do we have to listen to our hearts?

The alchemist replied: this is good , for this is proof that your heart is alive ,it is a natural to be afraid, to exchange everything that you succeeded in obtaining before for a dream .
So, why should I listen to my heart?
Because you cannot never science it , even if you pretend not hear what it says to you , it will remain here in your chest .and it will not stop repeating what it thinks about life and the universe .
Even is it a traitor ,
The betrayal is the blow that you did not expect it ,and if you knew your heart well , it can not catch you by surprising , because you will know its dream and desires .
And you will know how to count for it, no one can deny his heart, and that is why it is better to hear what it says so that he does not deal you a blow that you did not expect at all.
A novel full of lessons and deep meanings, which leads us in the end to believe in ourselves and hold on to our dreams and strive to pursue them and connect with the universe and understand its signs.
